Senior Justice Associate

 

Ms. Miller has over 15 years working in the mental health field in a variety of capacities, including serving older adults living with behavioral health difficulties and adults who are incarcerated and living with behavioral health difficulties. Her work has included directing a Medicaid behavioral health service satisfaction consumer team quality assessment program, directing a statewide program for complex case management and health benefits for consumers receiving dual Medicare & Medicaid benefits, state government administration for Pennsylvania’s Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and most recently as the Pennsylvania Department of Correction's 1st Mental Health Advocate and Certified Peer Specialist Instructor and Director where she provided technical assistance, training and program implementation for 26 state prisons in Pennsylvania.
Ms. Miller is a Certified Peer Specialist and also credentialed in various behavioral health train-the-trainer curriculums. Her experience includes providing technical consultation on quality initiatives including suicide prevention, correctional staff wellness, trauma informed approaches, veterans and implementing innovative programs in correctional settings and community corrections.
