Roberta C. Churchill, MA, LHMC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) is currently a Senior Justice Associate with Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. She began her criminal justice career at the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office in 1996 and returned to the facility as Director of Inmate Services for 13 months in 2017 – 2018. Roberta has previously worked with AdCare Criminal Justice Services for 18 years in a variety of positions at community corrections sites, treatment courts as well as correctional facilities since 1998. Roberta has an extensive background working with justice involved individuals who have co-occurring disorders, developing and supervising medication-assisted treatment, RSAT and gender-specific programs. She has been providing clinical supervision, training and consultation for over twenty years in the areas of evidence-based interventions and is one of the few “LS/CMI Master Trainers” internationally. More recently Roberta has become a Motivational Interviewing Trainer through the Health Education Training Institute based in Portland, Maine.
