Deana Evens, M.A., CJAP, CARS

Deana Evens, is a Corrections Administrator with Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities (TASC). She is responsible for overseeing multiple corrections programs including pre release case management at Decatur & Graham correctional centers, screening at Graham and Dwight correctional centers, post release case management in parole districts 2 & 3 (which cover over 50 counties), and the statewide Wait List program. Deana joined TASC in 2001 and has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Human Services from the University of Illinois at Springfield. She is a Criminal Justice Addictions Professional and a Certified Assessment & Referral Specialist. Deana is also an adjunct instructor in the Criminal Justice program at Richland Community College in Decatur, Illinois. Before joining TASC, she worked in child welfare, mental health, and with parenting teens.
