Andrew R. Klein, Ph.D.

Andrew Klein provides consulting and technical assistance to both federal and local criminal justice agencies as well as works in Advocates for Human Potential’s (AHP) Research and Evaluation Division. Formerly, he administered a Massachusetts juvenile and criminal court probation department, establishing the state’s first comprehensive substance abuse monitoring and testing program. He is the author of several texts, including Alternative Sentencing, Intermediate Sanctions and Probation (Anderson Publishing Co., Cincinnati, OH) and The Criminal Justice Response to Domestic Violence (Thomson/Wadsworth, Belmont, CA), as well as many journal articles. Dr. Klein received his Ph.D. from Northeastern University.
