Sherwin Kia Miles

Sherwin Kia Miles currently serves as a Correctional Counselor II at the Illinois Department of Corrections in Joliet, IL. In this role, Ms. Kia Miles assists in the statewide delivery of therapeutic community experiential training and substance abuse training for staff, provides counseling and guidance services to offenders, and acts as a drug screener and crisis team member. Additionally, Ms. Kia Miles serves as special consultant to Sheridan Correctional Center’s therapeutic community and Alcohol and Substance Abuse Coordinator to Stateville. She is CADC and Train-the-Trainer certified.
